The 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration marks a juncture in the advancement of women’s rights as it launches a new recurring theme from this year to 2028: WE for gender equality and inclusive society. It sparks a renewed commitment to the advocacy and banks on the gains achieved during the 2016-2022 theme, WE Make CHANGE Work for Women, which emphasized the need for compassionate and harmonized networks towards gender equality and women’s empowerment (GEWE).

This week let’s take inspiration from our Finance and Treasury Manager – Ms. Katharina T. Lauron, CPA whose goal is to make a difference for her family, community, and life.
As she gratefully captioned in her graduation post, “This one’s for my family, for everyone who believed in me since day one, and for the Awesome Lord who’s been my Greatest Provider. This is so much more than what I hoped for and dreamed of.” said Ms. Lauron.

Success and failure are inversely proportional to each other. If a person is successful, he or she will directly drift away from failure. Achieving success is not easy, if it was easy everyone would have done it, but it’s not impossible. It’s important to know that the road to success is filled with failures and through those failures one becomes successful. It should be understood that failure acts as a stepping stone for success and gives the will to work harder towards his/her goals.
Happy Women’s Month mga ka-COOP ug Salamat sa Gugma!
